Minister Phil Hogan Officially opens The Old Stables Self Catering Apts

The Old Stables Self Catering Apartments were officially opened by the Minister for the Environment Phil Hogan and it was a lovely occassion.  He spoke about the project and the importance of the tourism industry and encouraging and supporting existing businesses to expand in this ecomony. He was impressed by the standard of the work and the preservation of such a beautiful old building.  Patrick and Julie would like to thank all their friends and family who came on the day and those who sent their good wishes. Also all the people involved in the project especially the funders who helped and encouraged us along the way.

I use to stay back in the 80s and 90s.We used to go fishing to Ireland and always stayed here.I think it was called Killadeville back then and Bernie and her friends looked after us (at least a dozen of us).It was a great place to stay back then and the family were ever so nice people -I’m sure I will visit next time I go to Ireland
