They are finished and we are so proud of them.  Thank you to everyone who has helped to make them what they are today and will hopefully continue to be for the next 200 years.  The biggest thanks has to go to Patrick who is fulfilling a life long dream to live here, his vision has perserved the old beauty of this magnificient building.  He has put a tremendous amount of himself into this project and we are so happy to see the fruits of his labour at long last.

We were very lucky this weekend to have some of this lovely group stay with us and to be the first to use The Old Stables Apts.  They had great weather and enjoyed the sites in Leitrim and the surrounding counties.  The Abbey Bar provided them with entertainment and Fionnula Greenan with great food.  All in all a very successfully weekend for a small village.  Many thanks to Jane Wilson, Tony Lonsdale and Brian Laverick for organising the event.  We hope to see you all again.

is moving along both on the inside and the outside of the building.  The tiling is finished and it looks like the cobbling of the yard will be finished by tomorrow it looks spectacular.  The paving for the patios around the back of The Old Stables selfcatering is nearly complete and the new piers and gates are finished.

Pat remembers the windows looking like this as a child.

The beautifully handcrafted weighted windows have arrived.  They look just like the original windows looked, Pat remembers them from when he was a small child.  Next update in afew days, things are starting to move swiftly here.  First guests arrive the beginning of May.
